Attorney Thomas Martin

Thomas Martin began practicing law in 2015 as an associate criminal defense attorney for J. Edgar Law Offices in Indianapolis, Indiana. There, he defended individuals charged with crimes in both state and federal courts and in state appeals. He founded Thomas Martin Law, L.L.C. in November of 2017.

Founder
Thomas Martin is a native Hoosier. He was born and raised in southern Indiana. He attended both Indiana University Bloomington and Indiana University Southeast in pursuit of his undergraduate degree. At Indiana University Bloomington, he successfully completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice in 2006. While studying at Indiana University Bloomington, he achieved the Dean's List for 5 semesters. He was also nominated for Outstanding Senior Award of Criminal Justice by a faculty member.

Thomas Martin studied law at the University of Toledo College of Law for one year and then studied and completed his law degree at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. While at the University of Toledo College of Law, he achieved Highest Ranking in his section of Legal Research, Writing, and Appellate Advocacy II as he obtained the highest grade in that section of the course. While studying law at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, he savored his love for writing by serving as a Note Candidate Member & Executive Editor of the Indiana Health Law Review, a legal journal. There, he authored a note (an academic paper), which was published in Volume XI of the Indiana Health Law Review.

In his free time, Thomas Martin enjoys learning foreign languages (he speaks Spanish), traveling, fishing, hiking, and anything outdoors.
